The Saudi Red Crescent Authority branch in Al-Qassim Region participated in the accompanying exhibition of the National Crowd Management Forum, organized by the Emirate of Al-Qassim Region in cooperation with Qassim University, at the King Abdulaziz Conference Center in the university city, with the participation of several relevant entities and ministries.
During its participation, the branch showcased, through an awareness and educational pavilion, its experience in crowd management and the practical application of handling emergency medical cases. It also highlighted its operational readiness and the use of modern technologies that support rapid response, preserve lives, and enhance performance efficiency, in addition to introducing its awareness initiatives in the field of emergency safety.
Dr. Majed bin Dhaifallah Al-Saihany, General Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance at SRCA, also participated as a speaker at the forum, where he discussed the importance of applying governance and risk management concepts to enhance the efficiency of crowd management and raise the level of preparedness in line with the highest safety standards.
His Highness the Governor of Al-Qassim Region, the President of Qassim University, their assistants, and several leaders from participating entities toured the exhibition, which reflected the efforts made to advance crowd management systems. The exhibition highlighted the importance of ensuring human safety, improving organizational efficiency, and aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, while strengthening inter-agency integration.
The forum serves as a national platform for exchanging expertise and showcasing best practices, contributing to the development of performance and enhancing preparedness in crowd management, building on the Kingdom’s leading experience in this field.
