The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) in Riyadh Region has signed a cooperation agreement with Riaya Medical Hospital – Al Rawabi to support emergency medical services and improve response times to emergencies. The agreement aims to leverage the capabilities of the private healthcare sector and strengthen coordination and integration in the delivery of emergency medical services.
Under the agreement, the hospital will contribute an ambulance team comprising two qualified emergency medical technicians, along with a fully equipped ambulance that meets national standards, to support emergency medical operations in accordance with SRCA’s approved operational procedures.
The agreement also covers cooperation in training and public awareness, the exchange of medical and emergency care expertise, and the delivery of specialised training programmes and lectures on emergency medical protocols. It also provides access to the electronic paramedic system, helping develop personnel skills and improve field operational efficiency.
This agreement forms part of SRCA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with the private healthcare sector and expand community participation in supporting emergency medical services. These efforts aim to improve response efficiency and the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s objectives for healthcare sector development.
