President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority Receives President of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society

The President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Dr. Jalal bin Mohammed Al-Owaisi, received today at the Authority’s headquarters in Riyadh the President of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, Abdulrahman Bilal Baleid, and the Society’s Secretary-General, Ahmed Al-Tayeb Suleiman.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides in humanitarian fields.

The two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in ambulance services and capacity building through providing equipment and ambulances and implementing first-aid training programs.
The two sides affirmed their keenness to continue cooperation and exchange successful experiences, reflecting the depth of fraternal relations and contributing to strengthening humanitarian work in accordance with international best practices.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Authority’s President affirmed the scale of the challenges and directed that the submitted needs be studied and coordination procedures completed to enable their alignment with the relevant entities and finalize support pathways in accordance with regulations and procedures, thereby strengthening humanitarian work and embodying the depth of relations between the Saudi Red Crescent Authority and the Sudanese Red Crescent Society.
