The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Qassim region granted Al-Taawon Sports Club in Buraidah a certificate of compliance within the Emergency Medical Services Project for facilities, which it achieved as the first sports club in the Kingdom, in recognition of its excellence in adhering to the standards of quality and emergency medical services, and enhancing the effective partnership with the Authority in supporting emergency and humanitarian work.
The certificate was handed over in the presence of the Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority branch in the Qassim region, Mr. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Khudhur, and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Taawon Sports Club in the Qassim region, Mr. Sultan Al-Shuraida.
Everyone appreciated this achievement, which reflects the club’s commitment to creating a safe and supportive sports environment that meets the highest safety standards, and to raising the readiness of the club and its members to deal with emergencies.
The Emergency Medical Services Project for Facilities is concerned with training employees of governmental and private entities on the principles of first aid and providing the necessary medical equipment according to the standards approved by the Authority, in addition to training on Automated External Defibrillators (AED) and how to use them.
Al-Khudhur emphasized that these quality initiatives serve the club’s members and visitors during sporting events and contribute to enhancing the quality of life, in line with the aspirations of the wise leadership and Saudi Vision 2030. His Excellency also noted the great efforts made by the team working on this project in public places, facilities and workplaces, praising the professional work they presented that contributed to achieving this qualitative accomplishment.
