The Saudi Red Crescent Authority awarded Al Qassim Health Cluster the First Eight Training Quality Compliance Certificate, recognizing its compliance with the approved standards and requirements for first aid training and emergency preparedness programs. Al Qassim Health Cluster is the first health cluster in the Kingdom to receive this certification, which aims to enhance first aid skills during the critical first eight minutes of emergency situations.
The certificate was presented by the Director General of SRCA’s Al Qassim Region Branch, Mr. Khaled bin Saleh Al-Khudhr, to the Chief Executive Officer of Al Qassim Health Cluster, Dr. Musa Mohammed Al-Harbi, in recognition of the cluster’s commitment to implementing quality and safety standards in emergency medical training programs.
Mr. Al-Khudhr emphasized that the certification reflects excellence in adhering to quality and safety standards, strengthening effective partnerships in support of humanitarian and emergency medical initiatives, and fostering a safe working environment aligned with the highest occupational safety standards for managing emergency cases. He added that promoting first aid skills during the First Eight aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
He noted that this achievement demonstrates the efforts dedicated to enhancing the quality of training programs, improving the preparedness of healthcare professionals, and strengthening emergency response capabilities in accordance with nationally approved standards. These efforts contribute to improving patient safety, mitigating the impact of injuries, and increasing the efficiency of emergency medical response.
Mr. Al-Khudhr also commended the contributions of the Training and Community Education Department at SRCA’s Al Qassim Region Branch, in collaboration with Al Qassim Health Cluster, for their role in achieving this milestone. He further highlighted their efforts in supporting community health education and promoting awareness of essential first aid practices.
