SRCA Makkah Region Trains More Than 36,000 Beneficiaries During the First Half of 2026

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Makkah Region announced outstanding results in its training and community awareness programs during the first half of 2026, benefiting a total of 36,164 participants through accredited training courses and educational sector initiatives. The programs are part of SRCA’s ongoing efforts to promote first aid awareness and strengthen community preparedness for emergency situations.

SRCA reported that 5,048 trainees participated in first aid training courses, including 2,772 in Jeddah, 1,478 in Makkah, and 798 in Taif. During the same period, the Authority conducted 292 training courses, comprising 144 courses in Jeddah, 84 in Makkah, and 64 in Taif.

As part of its community awareness initiatives, SRCA delivered 974 educational lectures, including 420 in Jeddah, 340 in Makkah, and 214 in Taif, targeting various segments of society to increase first aid awareness and promote rapid emergency response.

In addition, 31,116 beneficiaries participated in training programs dedicated to the education sector, including 12,763 in Jeddah, 9,253 in Makkah, and 9,100 in Taif. These initiatives were implemented in schools, universities, and educational institutions to strengthen first aid skills and improve health awareness among students and educational staff.

SRCA reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its training and awareness programs to help build a safer, more prepared community. The Authority encouraged citizens and residents to register for its accredited first aid courses through the Mutaaheb platform to develop essential lifesaving skills and improve community readiness before emergency medical teams arrive.
