The Saudi Red Crescent in Asir will train more than 240,000 beneficiaries in first aid during 2025

In 2025, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority branch in Asir region implemented specialized training programs in the field of first aid, which contributed to qualifying more than (240) thousand beneficiaries from the community, government agencies, and the private sector, as part of its efforts to promote health awareness and raise the level of community readiness to deal with emergency medical cases.
The branch explained that the Ambassador of Life First Aid program contributed to qualifying (3,346) trainees, through the implementation of (450) training courses, in addition to the implementation of (49) specialized courses from which (635) beneficiaries benefited, and courses were also implemented within the program of the first eight for first aid, from which (148,773) beneficiaries benefited.
The branch also indicated that the training programs also included the implementation of (113) training courses within the Ambassador of Life program, from which (23,858) beneficiaries benefited, in addition to training (9,472) beneficiaries through a number of approved programs.
As part of promoting sustainability and building capabilities, the Authority’s branch qualified (51) male and female health mentors in the education departments of the governorates of the Asir region, through the Central Trainer Program, with the aim of preparing them as certified trainers in the field of first aid, which contributes to transferring knowledge and expanding the scope of training within the educational environment.
