The Community Training and Awareness Department at the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Al-Baha Region achieved significant qualitative accomplishments during 2025, reflecting notable progress in performance and program effectiveness. These efforts contributed to strengthening emergency preparedness and raising community awareness through the implementation of comprehensive training and awareness programs targeting various sectors across all governorates of the region. This initiative aligns with the branch’s commitment to promoting first aid culture and empowering community members to respond effectively to emergencies before ambulance teams arrive, thereby increasing survival rates.
The comparative annual report for 2024 and 2025 revealed exceptional growth across key performance indicators. The number of training courses delivered increased from 203 courses in 2024 to 869 courses in 2025, representing a growth rate of 328.17%.
Similarly, the number of beneficiaries of training and awareness programs rose dramatically from 5,234 beneficiaries in 2024 to 53,672 beneficiaries in 2025, achieving a growth rate of 925.45%. This significant increase reflects the expanded community impact and heightened engagement with the programs delivered throughout the region.
This achievement underscores the success of the approved operational plans, the efficiency of implementation methods, and the effective utilization of human and institutional resources. It also highlights the strength of partnerships with government entities, educational institutions, and the private sector, all of which contributed to embedding a culture of first aid and public safety and enhancing community readiness to respond to emergencies in Al-Baha Region.
