His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sattam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of the Asir Region, met today in his office at the emirate with Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shahri, Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority branch in the Asir Region.
During the meeting, His Highness reviewed a report on the Authority’s operations during the Asir Summer Season 2026, including the emergency and field plans implemented to provide ambulance services at tourist sites and events, as well as efforts to enhance response times and raise readiness, contributing to the safety of residents and visitors.
The Deputy Emir of Asir commended the efforts of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority personnel, stressing the importance of continuing to raise readiness levels and coordination with relevant entities to ensure the delivery of highly efficient emergency services in line with the tourism activity witnessed in the region during the summer season.
For his part, the Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority branch in the Asir Region expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Emir for his support and attention, affirming the Authority’s continued implementation of its operational plans and mobilization of its resources to serve residents and visitors.
