His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Madinah Region, received in his office Dr. Ahmed Al-Zahrani, Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s Madinah Region branch, along with the branch’s leaders.
During the meeting, His Highness reviewed the annual report of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s regional branch for 2025, including its indicators, emergency medical and humanitarian operations, and field efforts carried out during the year. He also reviewed the operational plan for the 1447 H Hajj season, aimed at enhancing the readiness of emergency medical services provided to pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque, as well as on the roads leading to Madinah.
The Deputy Governor listened to an explanation of the key preparations and approved operational plans for the season, including the reinforcement of emergency teams and deployment points and support for emergency medical services at high-density locations, thereby contributing to reducing response times and improving the quality of services provided to pilgrims and visitors.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Al-Zahrani expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Deputy Governor of the Madinah Region for the support, attention, and continuous follow-up extended to the Authority, which enhance the efficiency of its emergency medical and humanitarian operations in the region, particularly during the Hajj and Umrah seasons.
