The Saudi Red Crescent Authority signed a cooperation agreement with a medical company with the aim of contributing to community service and exchanging expertise in the fields of emergency medical services.
The agreement, which comes within the framework of the “An Hour for Our Community” initiative, stipulates responding to emergency cases in the western part of Riyadh and transporting patients to appropriate healthcare facilities.
It included the establishment of a fully-equipped emergency deployment point to support the distribution of emergency teams and enhance their operational readiness, ensuring rapid response to emergency cases and improving the level of emergency coverage within the service area, as well as attending to cases received from operational control according to the protocols followed by the Authority.
The agreement aims to develop various service sectors, reflecting the Authority’s commitment to achieving the highest standards in emergency medical services for patients and the injured, and to strengthening community partnerships that contribute to improving the efficiency and quality of health and emergency services.
