The Saudi Red Crescent Enhances Emergency Medical Coverage in East Riyadh Through a New Partnership

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority signed a cooperation agreement with a medical company. To contribute to community service and exchange experiences in the fields of emergency medical services.
The agreement stipulates the initiation of emergency cases in East Riyadh city, and the transfer of cases to appropriate health facilities, in order to enhance the role of the private sector in providing emergency medical services as a community partnership, in addition to activating specialized pathways for cases that require advanced care in accordance with approved medical protocols, which contributes to raising the efficiency of response and improving the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
The agreement also included the provision of an integrated ambulance starting point to support the deployment of ambulance teams and enhance their operational readiness, to ensure rapid access to emergency cases and raise the level of ambulance coverage within the scope of service, in addition to providing lectures on medical protocols approved by the Authority, in addition to providing the company with ambulance medical service and direct cases received from operational control in accordance with the protocols in force in the Authority.
The cooperation agreement is in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to develop various service sectors, and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s keenness to achieve the highest levels of emergency medical services for patients and injured people, and to enhance community partnerships that contribute to raising the efficiency and quality of health and emergency services.
