Saudi Red Crescent Receives Delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources

The President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Dr. Jalal Al-Owaisi, received His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Planning and Development, Dr. Abdullah Ali Al-Ahmari, along with his accompanying delegation, during an official visit aimed at strengthening governmental cooperation and coordinating joint efforts between the two entities. The visit sought to enhance institutional integration and improve service efficiency in alignment with national development objectives.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the Authority’s emergency medical services system, including a presentation of the “Al-Thuraya” vehicle, a mobile operations center designed to enhance rapid response during peak seasons such as Hajj and Umrah. The delegation also toured the National Emergency Medical Service Command Center, a central hub for managing emergency calls and dispatching field teams through advanced technologies and communication systems, supporting operational readiness and performance efficiency.
The visit included discussions on avenues for further collaboration and opportunities to strengthen integration between the sectors in ways that promote service sustainability and enhance coordination among relevant government entities.
At the conclusion of the visit, both sides emphasized the importance of continued institutional collaboration to further improve service quality and reinforce the effectiveness of the national operational framework.
