Saudi Red Crescent trains more than 700,000 beneficiaries during the first half of 2026

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority conducted more than 31,797 training courses during the first half of 2026, benefiting more than 766,103 people across various regions of the Kingdom, as part of the Authority’s efforts to promote first-aid awareness and enhance the preparedness of the community and health-care personnel.
The “First Eight” program, implemented in partnership with several government and private entities, held 29,464 training courses attended by 707,125 trainees. Beneficiaries included several government entities, in addition to compliance programs in the private sector, contributing to improving employee preparedness and enhancing rapid response to emergencies.
The “Life Ambassador” program continued its role in empowering community members with first-aid skills by conducting 1,155 training courses attended by 27,719 beneficiaries, as part of the Authority’s efforts to build a more aware community capable of handling emergencies until specialized teams arrive.
In the area of specialized qualification, the Authority conducted 124 medical courses benefiting 2,966 healthcare practitioners. These included advanced and accredited programs in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, disaster management, basic and advanced life support, trauma support, medical treatment protocols, and the safe driving of emergency medical service vehicles, enhancing the competence of healthcare personnel and improving the quality of emergency medical services.
Initiatives by the Authority’s branches contributed to achieving training and awareness objectives through 1,179 training courses under the “First Eight” and “Life Ambassador” programs, benefiting 28,293 trainees. This reflects the vital role played by the Authority’s branches in reaching various segments of society.
These results reflect the Authority’s continued implementation of its strategic objectives aimed at spreading knowledge of first aid, raising community preparedness, qualifying health personnel, and strengthening partnerships with various sectors, in order to improve the quality of life and support the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
