The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Madinah activates the electric ambulance cart to enhance response speed among crowds

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Madinah region activated the electric ambulance cart as part of its field services system, aiming to enhance emergency response speed and improve the efficiency of initial intervention at high-density locations.
This activation represents a smart, high-quality solution that meets the requirements of emergency medical operations in crowded environments. The cart is highly maneuverable and easy to operate within plazas and passageways, in addition to being quiet and environmentally friendly, making it suitable for the sanctity of the place and the nature of the sites where it operates.
The electric EMS cart helps reduce response times to emergencies and provides field support to emergency teams by delivering rapid initial medical intervention until the necessary procedures are completed and the patient is transported when needed.
The cart is deployed at several vital locations, most notably the Prophet’s Mosque, Quba Mosque, and Miqat Mosque, in addition to outdoor plazas and indoor passageways, with a particular focus on serving the elderly and people with disabilities.
The Authority confirmed that the cart is operated by qualified and trained paramedics as part of continuous operational readiness, in coordination with the Medical Transfer Center and emergency medical sectors, ensuring rapid response and high-quality services for visitors to these sites.
