The Saudi Red Crescent in the Eastern Province recorded more than 152 thousand volunteer work hours during the year 2025

During the year 2025, the Red Crescent Authority in the Eastern Province recorded more than 152 thousand hours of volunteer work, and the number of volunteers reached 38,600 male and female volunteers, which varied between EMS, humanitarian, awareness, environmental and sports work, in cooperation with a number of governmental and private agencies and associations in the Eastern Province.
Statistics from the Authority showed that the number of volunteer opportunities and initiatives in which male and female volunteers participated amounted to 1,857 volunteer opportunities and initiatives in various cities and governorates of the Eastern Province, which were offered by the Authority through the volunteering platform of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, as part of its efforts to promote volunteer work and support humanitarian initiatives and events that it implemented and participated in at the level of the region.
The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Eastern Province explained that the volunteer work aims to train volunteers and develop their skills, and enable them to participate in humanitarian, awareness, training and various activities of the Authority, noting that the volunteer work recorded during the year 2025 reflected the size of community participation in volunteer programs.
