SRCA Qassim Signs MoU with Al Taawoun Club for Community Partnership

The Al Qassim Region Branch of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Taawoun Club to strengthen cooperation in the health and sports sectors, supporting community service initiatives and contributing to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 through the promotion of health awareness, safety culture, and first aid education.
The agreement reflects the commitment of both parties to fostering stronger collaboration between the healthcare and sports sectors by exchanging expertise and resources and developing impactful initiatives that enhance health and sports awareness across the community.
The MoU aims to strengthen coordination in implementing joint programs and activities while maximizing the use of the resources and facilities available to both parties, thereby supporting community initiatives and creating a sustainable positive impact.
Areas of cooperation include the exchange of technical expertise and knowledge in health and sports, participation in community events and programs, and the delivery of regular certified First Eight first aid training courses for Al Taawoun Club personnel. The partnership also includes organizing joint workshops and awareness campaigns to promote health, safety, and physical activity, as well as utilizing the club’s facilities to host shared programs and activities.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Khaled bin Saleh Al-Khudhr, Director General of SRCA’s Al Qassim Region Branch, and Mr. Sultan Al-Shuraidah, Vice Chairman of Al Taawoun Club’s Board of Directors, in the presence of officials from both organizations.
Both parties affirmed that the agreement marks an important step toward establishing a strategic partnership that contributes to enhancing quality of life, promoting prevention and first aid awareness, and strengthening integration between the healthcare and sports sectors in the Al Qassim Region through sustainable, community-focused initiatives.
