SRCA Showcases Emergency Readiness and Tech at Hajj Forum

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority participated in the Health and Security in Hajj Forum, held from May 17 to 18, 2026, at the Ministry of Interior Club in Jeddah. This participation is part of the Authority’s efforts to highlight its operational and technical readiness to serve pilgrims during the Hajj season of 1447 AH.

The Authority’s pavilion introduced various emergency solutions and operational technologies utilized during the Hajj season. It also showcased specialized emergency services, rapid response mechanisms, and field-support equipment. These advancements aim to improve response times and enhance efficiency when dealing with emergencies in the Holy Sites, reflecting the evolution of the emergency system in crowd management and high-density locations.

The forum featured the participation of His Excellency the President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Dr. Jalal Al-Owaisi, in a panel discussion titled “Sustaining Excellence in Health and Security Services during Hajj.” The session discussed ways to strengthen integration between health and security sectors and develop sustainable work systems to boost the efficiency of services provided to pilgrims, achieving high levels of readiness and responsiveness during the Hajj season.

This participation underscores the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s commitment to strengthening its presence in specialized events related to pilgrim services, highlighting its developmental and operational efforts to elevate the quality of emergency services provided to the guests of Allah.
