The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Makkah Region has awarded the Ambulatory Compliance Certificate to the General Directorate of Education in Jeddah. This recognition comes after the directorate successfully met all approved emergency requirements and standards, reflecting a commitment to enhancing the readiness of educational environments for handling emergencies.
This accreditation is part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness of first aid and empower personnel to respond rapidly during the critical first minutes of an emergency, which —God willing—contributes to saving lives and reducing complications.
The requirements for obtaining the certificate included:
Providing Automated External Defibrillators (AED).
Optimizing facilities to ensure rapid access to emergency cases.
Training educational and administrative staff on essential first aid skills through SRCA-certified programs.
The SRCA branch in Makkah emphasized that the “Ambulatory Compliance Certificate” program is a qualitative initiative designed to bolster safety in educational settings and elevate community readiness to handle emergencies efficiently.
