The Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority branch in Al-Qassim Region, Mr. Khaled bin Saleh Al-Khudhr, honored Al-Qassim National Hospital in Buraidah and the participating emergency team, in the presence of His Excellency the Chief Executive Officer of Al-Qassim National Hospital, Prof. Dr. Sultan bin Fahd Al-Nohair, along with the Assistant Director General for Emergency Operations and several leaders from both the hospital and SRCA branch in Al-Qassim.
The initiative aims to utilize healthcare facilities to support emergency response operations. In coordination with the SRCA branch, Al-Qassim National Hospital established a fully equipped emergency response team operating from within the hospital to provide field support alongside SRCA ambulance teams and to cover surrounding areas of the hospital, particularly during peak hours, based on emergency reports received from the Authority’s Operations Control Room.
This collaboration contributes to reducing response times for emergency cases and ensuring prompt intervention, positively impacting patient outcomes and minimizing the severity of injuries through rapid field response and the provision of necessary emergency care prior to hospital arrival.
Al-Khudhr emphasized that the Community Integration and Response Partners Initiative aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Quality of Life Program, reflecting a strong commitment to the health of citizens and residents. He highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration among relevant entities to achieve the highest standards of healthcare delivery.
He further noted that the Authority delivers its services through qualified medical and emergency personnel, supported by advanced equipment and modern ambulance vehicles, in addition to the Air Ambulance Service operated by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, which covers the region and responds to various emergency cases.
